"Highly recommend!"

My team is Ezra and Jess. Over 3 years of divorce proceedings and a custody modification, I have always felt well represented. They are responsive, listen well, and advise well. We did go to trial for one piece and had a very successful outcome. He seems comfortable in and out of court. He steered me to a county fathering group that ultimately reflected very well and helped in the trial success. He offered a military discount and has a military background himself. Cost are reasonable for the level of service provided and I never feel like they are padding the hours. Highly recommend!

Jennifer Knies and the Knies, Helland, and McPherson Law Firm were outstanding in my divorce. They were referred to me by a lawyer friend of mine who was adamant that I reach out the KHM before my ex-wife did, so I did and it was the best decision I could have made. My case was very difficult and it involved and ugly battle over the custody of my two boys as well as numerous other "sensitive" issues, and I always felt listened to and supported by Jennifer, Krista (paralegal), and the entire firm. Additionally, I felt the judge's verdict was extremely fair and appropriate considering the extenuating circumstances in our case an I am currently still in full custody of my boys. KHM is a huge part of the "success" that we had in court!

My ex-wife has recently filed a 'frivolous" appeal and the firm is aggressively dealing with this as well. By no means am I an expert in hiring divorce attorneys (hopefully noone is!), but I would highly recommend Knies, Helland, and McPherson Law for anything like I have gone through.

Ezra Hurwitz represented me and Jess Strong was the paralegal. Both were extremely responsive to email and phone calls. I would often reply after business hours and on weekends. Most of the time I would get a response within an hour or two and not have to wait until business hours. Ezra is very clear in his communication, he lays out options and likelihood of success, and when you pick a direction to go, he executes very well. He doesn't act like a jerk to opposing counsel for the sake of being a jerk, but when the other lawyer tries to manipulate the situation, he calls them out on it and represents your interests extremely well. He has been very helpful in a DHS case and knows some resources that will help you live a better life as well as help influence the court's decisions in your favor. He neither relishes going to court nor is afraid of it and will not push for a settlement that may not be in your best interest for the sake of a settlement. I never got the impression that he tried to build up billable hours. Just good solid representation and advice. He offers a discounted rate for military as well. It won't be cheap no matter what, but I absolutely feel like I got great representation for my money.
